This past Saturday, Doc and Becki, along with other Aroostook County beverage producers, helped serve up some fun at The County's Oktoberfest. While we have seen he can haul around his fair share of kegs, we have yet to hear if he participated in the keg throwing contest. To see what you missed out, check out the write up in The County.

Educate Maine is hosting an Aroostook County Teacher's Focus Group in the tap room this Saturday, October 14 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. As a result, we will be opening to the public at 2:00 PM, just a little later than normal. It is no secret many of our bartending staff are teachers so First Mile is pleased to have the opportunity to be involved in any way to help our local educators. You can find more information here. Educate Maine does have space limited to 30 participants and registration is required.

The University of Maine at Fort Kent English department is hosting up a Train of Events for Harry Potter Book Day. The Train starts rolling today with activities taking place in various locations in the community and ends Sunday in our tap room! In honor of, we will have our freshest batch of Harry Porter on tap. You can also find our special Butter Beer Seltzahh, Pumpkin Juice (Spice) Seltzahh and a non alcoholic Butter Beer option. It will also be your last chance to take advantage of our Carve and Sip opportunity. The full event line up and for more information can be found here.

We would love to hear from you! What do you want to see happening at First Mile Brewing? Let us know!
