It is wildly busy in these parts as we prepare for our 6th Anniversary. Nate and Jodi bottled up our Big Black Imperial Stout anniversary brew. We will have a Wednesday release on bottles. You will find it on tap on Saturday of our big anniversary bash. Nate definitely has outdone himself with this one. It touts a stiff 9.0% ABV but sips as smoothly as a chocolate latte.
We are hosting our very first cribbage tournament. Come down to enjoy some friendly competition Sunday November 19. There is no cost to play, no limit on registered participants and the winning player wins a prize. Registration begins at 12:00 while play begins promptly at 1:00. We are testing the waters but would like to make this a monthly event.
Wednesday November 22, you can test your knowledge at trivia night. Get some (brain) exercise before Thanksgiving noshing. Amanda will begin questions at 6:00.
Thursday November 23, Thanksgiving Day, we WILL be open regular business hours. Christmas Ale drops both in cans and on tap. Travis Cyr will be coming in to end the day with some great live tunes at 6:00. If you want to stuff yourself like a turkey and wear your stretchy pants in, we won't judge. Promise.
Friday November 24, we will be showcasing Cooking with Beer. We will feature Bread and Beer Flights, which comprises of 4 pre-selected beers with sourdough bread flavors paired perfectly for your tastebuds. Alex is planning to have a very limited supply of sourdough loaves available for sale as well. Also sample stew and sweet treats.
Saturday November 25 is our 6th Anniversary! Big Black Imperial Stout comes out on tap. Drawings to be held hourly with a variety of First Mile gear and prizes to snag. Find snacks and cupcakes in house. Lance Ouellette joins us at 6:00 to end the day.
Sunday November 26 features Qulu Designs Crafty Sipping at 2:00. Some of us are excited for winter wonderlands and holiday cheer. Come learn how to make adorable holiday gnomes. Your $15 ticket includes all materials, hands on instruction and a draft pour. You can register here.
